June Blooms and Bees

It feels like this week was the turning point for lots of flowers and lots of bees. Maybe it’s related to the Summer Solstice or maybe it’s just that plants are blooming en masse right now.

So I spent an inordinate amount of time in the garden stalking bees and thought I’d share a few of my favorite pics.

The bee on coneflower is my favorite. It looks like it has been climbing a mountain and is just cresting the top!

Thanks, and I agree. They work so hard out in the garden. You know I’m out there cheering them on! 🙂

Thank you – it’s one of my faves, too. People wonder how I fill my days right now. Between job hunting, gardening, and bee stalking…well, they’re really full!
